PokerTalk is a multilingual poker platform where Korean-, English-, and Chinese-speaking players come together to engage in open discussions, hand reviews, and strategic analysis. Our goal is to foster a healthy, analysis-driven poker culture.
Below are the key usage guidelines and operating policies all members should be aware of.
1. Login & Account Security
PokerTalk supports email login and Google social login.
Email login requires email verification, and upon successful login, a JWT-based token system is applied to enhance security.
If there are more than five failed login attempts, the account will be temporarily locked for 10 minutes.
These measures are in place to prevent account hijacking and brute-force login attempts.
2. Multilingual Community Structure
By default, users will see only the board corresponding to their selected language.
However, globally trending posts and popular hand reviews may be displayed across all languages.
Posts in the global section are shown in their original language, and clicking them will redirect users to the original board.
This structure is designed to prevent duplicate content and ensure SEO optimization.
3. Community Usage Guidelines
Posts containing abusive language, harassment, spam, or advertising may be moderated or removed without prior warning.
The Hand Review board is intended for analysis based on real gameplay.
Poll features should be used only for strategic discussions.
PokerTalk is an information-focused, analysis-driven community.
4. Account Suspension & Withdrawal Policy
Violations of community rules may result in penalties ranging from warnings to temporary suspension, and ultimately permanent bans, depending on severity.
Account deletion requests are processed immediately, and personal data is securely removed in accordance with applicable laws.
After account deletion, existing posts will remain but will be anonymized.
